Under the royal directives of Sultan Qaboos bin Said- may he rest in peace.

The Royal Navy of Oman in cooperation with Sail Training International Association.
Objective
To support sailing and its enthusiasts, and strengthening the bonds of friendship and camaraderie among ships crews
Launch
The Trophy was launched in Stavanger, Norway, in July 2011.Beneficiaries
100 young people annually from various countries around the world.
Winners
First version: The Norwegian ship "Christian Radich" - in the city of Toulon in the Republic of France in in 2011.
Second version: The German Sail ship" Alexander von Humboldt"- in Riga, the capital city of Latvia on 17th of November 2012
Third version: In the city of Alborg, in the kingdom of Denmark, the ship “Helena” on 17th of November 2013.
Fourth version: The Portuguese Sail Training Association (Aporvela), in La Coruna, Spain on 15th of November 2014.
Fifth version: South African sailing training Association, at Port Sultan Qaboos in Muscat on 10th of November 2015.
Sixth version: The German Association for Sailing Training, in Halmstad, Sweden on 26th of November 2016.
Seventh version: The Latvian sailing training association, the city of Bordeaux in the Republic of France on 3rd of December 2017.
Eighth version: Skonnerten Jylland ship (Denmark), in the city of Seville in the kingdom of Spain on 3rd of December 2018.
Ninth version: The Belgium Sailing ship (Rubel) owned by Vandeborne, in the city of Antwerp in the Kingdom of Belgium on 7th of December 2019.
Tenth version: The Norwegian ship “Kristian Radich”, in the island of Gran Canarias in the kingdom of Spain on 20th of November 2022.
Eleventh version: The polish sailing ship “Dar Mloziezy”, in the city of Dunkirk in the republic of France on 19th of November 2023.
Twelfth version: The British ship “Excelsior”, in the city of A Coruna in the kingdom of Spain on 23rd of November 2024.
Thirteenth version: The tall ships Aberdeen teem, in Muscat city in the sultanate of Oman 4th of December 2025.
